QTBIPOC Youth: Festival Bursary

We are thrilled to offer six QTBIPOC youth a festival bursary that covers the cost of registration to Toronto Taiko Festival!

​

This bursary is for queer and/or trans Black, Indigenous or People of Color community member between the ages of 18-29, for whom the cost of festival registration is a barrier to access.The pass grants access to the full festival package offerings which include:

 

  • ​Finding Her Beat film screening & artist talk-back on Friday, August 16th at 7pm

  • Bang On! - the official Toronto Taiko Festival Concert, hitting the stage on Saturday, August 17th at 8pm

  • Total of 4 guaranteed taiko workshops August 16th-18th

 

This program is supported by an MLSE Foundation Community Action Grant.
